"I’ve never felt this fit and content in my own skin in my life! I really get a buzz from seeing my progress week on week and I like how I feel when I’ve completed a workout- my energy levels improve and I have such a sense of accomplishment.
In the beginning, I had lost some weight but was still overweight and was starting from scratch in terms of fitness. I'd never really enjoyed exercise all that much before, but I'd reached a point in my life where I needed to pull my finger out and take care of myself in order to properly take care of my family and the demands of caring for a special needs son.
At first I found everything hard and I ached like crazy after each workout, but I went with it, trusted the plan and very quickly got used to it. The aching stopped, my energy levels were up and I generally had a more positive outlook on life.
Seeing my progress week on week really pushed me to go further, gradually the weeks mounted up and I could suddenly run around Sibleyback lake without stopping, which I thought would take a lot longer to achieve. I can now say that I actually enjoy going for a run, which I never thought possible!
My weekly sessions really motivate me for the rest of the week, I wouldn’t have got this far doing it by myself. sometimes you need someone to remind you how far you’ve come and point out what you are achieving this week compared to last week.
I’m really happy with my progress, its made a huge difference to my life. Something as simple as being able to sprint after my son and not being an out of breath mess on the floor afterwards. I fully intend to keep up my new level of fitness. I like how I feel now compared to how I felt before and I don’t want to go back there."
